We are a nonprofit organization seeking to help those Second Chance Citizens returning to society from short and long prison terms to reintegrate into a world that has changed with assistance unlike before.
Nathaniel Swint-Director and founder of the Second Chance Portal Inc, spent 27 years imprison with other Second Chance Citizens who return home without family, community or legal support as guidance for them back into society’s changed world Where upon Nathaniel Swint’s release he received numerous phone calls seeking assistance and guidance as to how to survive and readjust into a changed world.
Our goal is to have a meaningful impact on reducing recidivism by providing opportunities that steer individuals away from the pressures and temptations of returning to former criminal behavior, offering them viable and sustainable alternatives for survival and success in society.
We will help with the returning Second Chance Citizens getting their I.D.’s; social security; food; housing; etc., basic needs.
To reach those Second Chance Citizens that the legal system left stranded based on legal eligibility that
only a few were eligible.
We will provide the Second Chance Citizens with direction needed; mentorship and means to achieving
livelihood in a changed society with earned and passive income skills.
Our housing program is designed to meet the immediate needs of those reentering society, while also promoting long-term stability. Residents will have access to case management, job readiness training, mental health resources, and community support systems. By removing the barrier of homelessness and providing a structured, nurturing space, we empower returning citizens to focus on personal development, reconnecting with their families, and becoming productive members of their communities. Housing is not just a shelter; it is the foundation for transformation.
We emphasize the development of self-awareness and integrity, encouraging participants to take accountability for their past while building a strong moral foundation for their future. Through mentorship, counseling, and structured support, individuals learn to make honest choices, reflect on their actions, and commit to a life rooted in responsibility and respect.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
